The production of plastic pellets is a compounding process of multiple different characteristiced polymers e.g. rubbers, plastics, fibers and other additives.

Kenneth Compounders
Kenneth Hot/Cold Mixers is used for pre-compounding of Plastic powder and multiple additives. Followed by a single screw extruder or twin screw extruder to do the compounding and pelletizing. Downstream equipment and other auxiliaries full fill the complete production of final Plastic pellets.
The core compounding process is taken place in the extrusion machine. Plastic dry blends fed into screw and barrel and go through plasticization, compounding, pressurization, degassing and conveying sections.
Single Screw Extruder SJ Series
Kenneth SJ series single screw extruder adopts newest design of screw with excellent energy saving and high output performance. Equipped with high efficient gearbox which is capable of bearing greater back pressure and torque force during production. The low noise and durable gearbox is adjustable to satisfy different production conditions.
Twin Screw Extruder SHJ Series
Kenneth SHJ series twin screw extruder uses particular co-rotating twin screw&barrel extruder for the mixing, melt compounding of certain polymer and other modifiers. It has a wide applications for the compounding and pelletizing of various polymers.
Two Stage/Hybrid Extrusion Unit JP Series
The first stage compounder is SHJ series co-rotating twin screw extruder. The relatively high rotation speed of twin screw, high shear force and intensive mixing performance provide a fully plasticizing and compounding conditions for Plastic and other raw materials. No back pressure from die head at this application. The second stage compounder is SJ single screw extruder which has deep grooves and low shearing force. With cooling of barrel, it prevents melt compunds from over-heat degradation under high pressure extrusion. The two stage/hybrid extrusion unit maximizes its application, extends processing flexibility and increases throughput dramatically. Best fit for thermal sensitive materials such as Plastic, XLPE, low smog halogen-free flame retardant cable and insulation materials.

Upstream Equipment
The scope of upstream equipment is simply defined as equipment used for preparing feedstocks to main compounder(extruder). Typical upstream equipment include dumping stations for all raw materials, conveying system, weighting&metering system, pre-mixing machine etc. Among which, some upstream equipment are must equipment while others are optional depends on actual processing requirements and automaticity. Downstream Equipment
Downstream equipment of Kenneth Plastic Pelletizing Machine are referred to those equipment used for turn the melt Plastic strands from extruder die into final Plastic pellets. Thus, hydraulic screen changer, die, cut into pellet equipment, cooling equipment, conveying equipment are needed. Sometimes, weighting and packing equipment are also optional if needed. The first must equipment is the pelletizer/pelletizing unit which is used for cutting melt plastic strands into pellets. Different pelletizers/pelletizing equipment are available as per processing requirements of raw materials and final pellets.
